Volunteer Opportunities
There are various ways that you can become involved in helping human trafficking victims. Metanoia uses a trauma informed approach to train volunteers to best support survivors in our program. We have an application process that will allow us to best place our volunteers in a way that supports our survivors for the long term. It is crucial that we follow our policies to ensure continuity and safety of the minor survivors in our care.

Classroom support in Math, Reading Comprehension, and Science

Academic tutoring

African American hair care and styling

Arts & crafts, cooking, sewing, and embroidery

Job and trade skills

Mentoring and social activities

Accompanying the girls and staff on field trips

Clerical and administrative support

Cooking alongside the Sisters and girls
